At a royal audience Eva loudly objects to the succession and is called a lunatic; family members beg her to apologize while guards seize her. A sudden imperial decree names Prince Liam Crown Prince, overturning expectations and shocking the court. Officials reshuffle residences — mentioning West Court and a shed — and murmurs spread about who changed Father’s mind. Eva is summoned to meet the Grand Princess.
