Hunter, a powerful CEO, speeds to a charity gala after learning a woman he cares about, Serena, was publicly bullied. He cannot reach Serena or his mother, Eleanor, adding to his urgency. At the gala venue, a confrontational woman threatens Serena and orders her thugs to break the legs of an older woman, Eleanor, who is trying to protect Serena.
