The Mist Between Our Graves - Episódio 1

A delivery of a lavish $99,000 bouquet interrupts men playing cards; the flowers are for Sherry and praised as a gift from Mr. Shawn. People note Ethan's generosity toward Sherry. The narrator recalls that three years ago Sherry presented the same design as hers in a competition, leading to a plagiarism charge, loss of her diploma, a pregnancy, Ethan's broken legs and a rushed marriage while Sherry fled overseas. After Ethan drew a rose on her hand for her birthday, the episode ends when someone says, 'He is Ethan,' leaving her with the unresolved question of his loyalty.
