Yvonne confronts Ian, calling him a psychopath and warning, "When Mom and Dad get back, I'm divorcing you!" Guests try to drag Ian out as he repeatedly cries, "Save Mom and Dad!" Sean lies hurt; Yvonne blames herself for letting Ian hurt him and rushes Sean to the hospital. At triage a volunteer donor appears and must sign consent. Nurses whisper that both crash victims and the donor are Rh‑negative—rare in town—and one says only a few Millers have it. A staff member demands, "Say that again!" leaving the donor's compatibility unresolved.
