The episode begins with Vladimir planning to visit Bloodraven Castle disguised as a duke. A flashback reveals the castle lord banished his own son, Igor, years ago, accusing the boy of being a monster because of his unique eyes. In the present, the castle is in crisis: a powerful monster has killed six people, including a lord and his demon hunters, and the real Duke is due to arrive in one month. The lord's advisors are powerless, only mentioning a legendary 'All-Seeing Eye' that could expose the monster. Unbeknownst to them, the banished Igor once claimed to possess such a sight. As the lord orders the formation of a new Demon Hunter Guard and summons his eldest son Alexei to lead it, the true identity of the monster and the fate of Igor remain unresolved.

As guards scramble to alert the authorities, the man vanishes, having silently made his way to his true destination: Bloodraven Castle.

A man named Valen is informed of a recent murder in the city. He reassures his companion that he has hired a powerful demon hunter for protection. The monster vows to kill the demon hunter, exposing a larger scheme to eliminate all demon hunters before a figure named Vladimir arrives.

A man arrives to find a powerful greater monster completely sealed, realizing the one who did it must still be present. His father identifies the man's eldest son, Alexei, as the hunter who alone defeated the wraith and defended Bloodraven Castle. The father, Count Vorontsov, proudly proclaims his son the Castle's Greatest Demon Hunter and orders the feat celebrated across the city. However, after the ceremony, another man ominously confronts Alexei, accusing him of stealing the kill and warning him the price will be steep.

The Count of Bloodraven Castle announces a trial to select a captain for the Duke's personal guard. The assembled demon hunters all expect his son, Alexei, to win easily. The trial is to hunt a mid-tier monster called an Arachne in a forest estate, a task Alexei dismisses. However, an unnamed person privately reveals a crucial twist: the monster has evolved far beyond its mid-tier classification in the past five years, setting up a dangerous and misjudged hunt.
007
Marina argues with her male companion over the danger of a mission in Mistveil Forest before he departs. She then joins a group of hunters, where she reveals her low Level 3 rank, drawing scorn and threats from a higher-level member who dismisses her as 'trash.' Marina enters the trial to hunt an Arachne, seeing it as a step toward her secret goal of getting close to a man named Vladimir. While reflecting on her powerful, absent teacher, she is unaware she's being observed by someone from her past.

A woman, pursued by hunters seeking to kill her, has already dispatched two. A Level 6 demon hunter named Alexei confronts her, confident his strength can win if he fights to the death. He calls for his companion Vera to cover him. The woman, a greater-tier being, mocks his fear and his racing heart. Faced with her overwhelming power, Alexei abandons his comrade, declaring he cannot die there. The woman corners him, taunting him as the future heir of Bloodraven Castle, now pinned down and awaiting his fate.

A low-level warrior is overpowered by a giant spider and mocked by a blindfolded man. The man taunts him for being weak, but the warrior reveals a legendary Holy Sword, a sacred relic tied to royalty. The man's shock and envy turn to contempt, dismissing the warrior's survival as mere weapon luck. When confronted, the warrior turns the question back on him, asking why he doesn't possess such a weapon himself, exposing a critical weakness in his foe's arrogance.
010
After a blind man slays a deadly Arachne monster with a hidden Holy Sword, a surviving soldier angrily accuses him of letting teammates die. Count Vorontsov offers a doubled bounty for the sword, but the man refuses, citing the Count's own rules. The Royal Scholar declares the weapon a royal relic that unauthorized possession is punishable by execution, and orders the man to surrender it. As soldiers demand the sword, the man, recognizing the Count, reveals they have a past history of theft, leaving his powerful identity a mystery and his fate uncertain.
