This Time, I Chose a Different Family - ตอนที่ 2

Amelin insists on staying with her father and brothers rather than leaving to live with her mother and the wealthy Burkes, despite pressure and insults from others favoring luxury. She warns that the Burkes, who control Riverport through a mix of legitimate power and underground crime, are dangerous and harsh, especially the three difficult Burke brothers. Amelin recalls her past life’s struggles under their control and rejects the idea of exchanging her current life for the risky Burke household. The episode ends with a sharp exchange of threats, as one party vows to rise in Riverport without her, setting up a power struggle to come.
