At home Mason is warned by his lover to delete a secretly sent video and keep his wife Kate from finding out; she says she'll marry his brother and pressures him to stay married for his wife's money. He refuses to divorce, and the lover admits the pill she gave caused Kate's miscarriage. Kate discovers the truth, confronts Mason and the lover, and calls his brother for answers. When Kate shouts, "You jerks will pay for this!" the accusation leaves Mason exposed just days before the looming wedding.
