Azurlim is devastated by the Doomspawns invasion, forcing humanity to awaken powerful Espers. Despite other nations having SSS-Class Espers, the Draconians have yet to awaken one, facing ridicule. Kieran, determined to change this, activates his Bronze Rank Soul Level, summoning his basic Esper, Dreadwing, with the Warden's encouragement. Kieran reunites with Eira, who urges him to leave the dangerous Lomir family to avoid suffering, but he refuses, intent on claiming a spot in the elite Exalted Legion. The episode ends unresolved with Kieran ready to face the formidable test and challenge Seth for his position.
