Disoriented and feverish, a woman wakes in an unfamiliar place. She mistakes the man there for a cosplayer, touching his 'fluffy ears'. He declares her a trespasser in a werewolf's domain and kisses her. Afterward, she reflects that she was drunk and slept with a stranger. The scene shifts to her present life: she is a mother named Nellie whose son, Brady, has an unusual medical condition. A new drug could help, but a single shot costs $100,000, money she doesn't have. Desperate to save her son, she agrees to pursue a job as a private physician. She then discovers a symbol linked to the job that is identical to the mark left on her six years ago.
