A desperate man arrives at an orphanage late at night and abandons a newborn boy, claiming both of his parents are gone. The orphanage director is persuaded to take the infant in. Later, a wealthy man named Ewan Riley, pressured to find an heir, decides to adopt a child. At the orphanage, he is drawn to the abandoned baby and, upon hearing the baby's mother died in childbirth, demands a paternity test. The results confirm the boy is Ewan's biological son. Ewan, overjoyed, names the boy Noah and declares him the Riley heir, then orders all orphanage records of Noah's origins to be erased to secure his legacy.
