Commander Julia faces a crisis as the North Mine, the only remaining resource point, falls to monsters after her forces were pulled to Riverton. Her team pressures her to retake it, but she contemplates external help and distrusts Morton Lynn, accusing him of sabotage. Lynn’s loyalty is defended by another, but tensions rise until Julia abruptly quits. Meanwhile, a new strategic target, a dark mine east of Riverton, emerges.
