As his condition worsens, a spiritual incense is used to keep his spirit alive just long enough for him to make a will. He entrusts his daughter Julia with an amulet and urges her to find his missing son Luke, revealing that this attack was orchestrated by those who kidnapped Luke. The episode ends with Julia swearing to find her brother before her father's fate is sealed.
