A woman and a man, recently divorced, meet for lunch at his suggestion. She interprets it as a breakup meal for a love that never existed and insists he pays, citing his assets and her own lack of income. At the restaurant, she deliberately orders the most expensive items. As he watches her, he finally asks the unresolved question: why she wanted the divorce in the first place.
