A Father at All Costs - Episódio 3

At Aaron's wedding morning, his mother pressures him to hide his poor background to match bride Peggy’s wealthy standing—Peggy runs York Group and even Ruby Zeller admires her. She belittles Aaron's rural roots, insists the ceremony be modest, and demands he stop his laborer father and countryside relatives from attending to avoid embarrassment. As the ceremony time approaches, Aaron wrestles with family loyalty versus social climbing. His mother gives him explicit instructions to prevent his father's appearance; the episode ends with Aaron calling out, "Dad?" as whether his father will come remains unresolved.
