A Father at All Costs - Episódio 11

A tense meeting starts when Peggy's family demands $2,880,000, mocking the groom's offer of $10,000 and humiliating Samuel, a laborer. The groom insists Peggy will be his wife and says it's acceptable if she doesn't accept Samuel as family, but the in-laws insist payment is required to prove worthiness. His mother Carol tries to speak but is shut down as the family deride Samuel's poverty and threaten to cut him off. The argument escalates until Samuel lashes out, defending 'Mandy' from their insults. The family's acceptance and the payment demand remain unresolved, forcing a painful choice.
