A Recipe for the Marquis' Heart - Episode 5

A new cook, Judy, tries to serve her specially enhanced pancakes to a delicate young boy, but the head maid dismisses them as cheap street food and threatens to have her fired. Judy refuses to leave, asserting her position. Later, while working, she accidentally collides with the manor's master, the Frontier Marquis Jon Shaw. To everyone's surprise, the Marquis, who is rumored to dislike being touched, doesn't release her. He seems to recognize her and asks for her name. When the head maid tries to blame Judy for the food incident, the Marquis unexpectedly tastes one of the contested pancakes himself and declares it delicious, challenging the maid's authority on the spot.
