A desperate father enters a casino to win back money his son lost, carrying $180,000, money his child reveals is the parents' retirement savings. Staff reluctantly seats him and provides chips while his child begs him to stop and leave. At the table he stakes a $100 blind ante in 3-Card Poker and, amid a speaker's calm rundown of three tiers of gambling cheating, technique, teamwork, and psychological control, dismissed as 'amateur hunters', he commits to play. The episode ends as he checks his 3-Card Poker hand with the retirement fund on the line, the result and family's fate unresolved.
