The Director warns the life-draining fusion is illegal and orders Lester to forfeit, but Lester presses on and lands a winning Glacial Lock. Vault members argue: some plead with Ms. Vyra to spare qualifications; one humiliatingly begs her as "mother." Jaxon offers to intervene, though his beast is only Tier 4 and Rokkar's opponent was nearly restored by a potion. The episode ends with Jaxon challenging, "I'll fight you."
