Grandma gives Natalia a longevity pendant, blessing her health, then urges her to go catch koi for luck and to bring some to Father. At the pond Natalia chases fat koi. The fish cry, 'Eat me and I'll gain 500 years of cultivation,' and she plans to catch them. Suddenly other voices sneer, 'What a stupid bumpkin; you were so easy to trick into coming out.' The teasing escalates into a direct command—'Do it now'—leaving Natalia exposed as the episode closes with her forced to face the ordered action.
