Bound to the Don - Episode 8

A wounded man demands a bullet be removed from his back, dismissing the doctor's warnings. When the doctor hesitates, he orders everyone out and prepares to extract it himself. A woman watching mocks his medical attempt, but he insists she assist him. After she successfully removes the bullet, he questions why she took the bullet for him earlier. She claims it was merely professional pride. He rejects this, declaring that since she saved his life, he now owns it. He gives her a high-level security pass, making her his exclusive personal guard, placing her in a new and uncertain position within his powerful organization.
