At a Dutt Group gathering a brash man interrupts, declaring "Quinn is under my protection" and ordering respect for him. He reveals his adoptive father is Ms. Dutt's dad, calls Ms. Dutt his nominal sister and insists she will be his wife. The crowd laughs and challenges him; he admits cutting ties with his adoptive mother and insults her, then escalates by demanding another man kneel and beg to stay on as a janitor at Dutt Group. The episode ends with that man forced to decide whether to kneel and keep his position.
