Burning Away for the Man She Loved - Episode 1

Mr. Stanley demands his wife withdraw her divorce application and warns he won't relent if she disobeys. Neighbors mock him as dramatic while Mrs. Stanley decides she will not back down. She says she loved Xavier for ten years and that, during three years of marriage, he has threatened divorce 101 times; she used to beg him to retract filings, but now refuses. Mr. Stanley accuses her of playing the victim and refuses to withdraw. They go to find Jenny, and someone ties a promise of marriage to investing in a mother's project, leaving the bargain unresolved.
