A family argument explodes when Fiona demands a bracelet back; it slips, smashes, and she blames Jenny. The father publicly scolds Fiona and accuses her mother of prioritizing lab work, while bystanders shout and someone cries "Fire!" Jenny is pushed aside and rushed to the hospital. Fiona then recounts a seven-year-old flashback: she was slapped, went temporarily deaf, rescued someone and lost the credit to Jenny. After repeating her explanation, she confronts her husband and, fed up, declares, 'I don't want this marriage and you anymore.'
