Yale is threatened to apologize and leave, or risk having his familiar attack him. Defiantly refusing, Yale commands the Flamegold Lion to attack, but it is unexpectedly overpowered by a powerful shape-shifting familiar named Blood Queen, who fiercely defends her master. Yale's former partner coldly offers him to leave and join the wealthy White family, promising luxury, but Yale chooses loyalty over wealth. The episode ends with tension mounting as Yale's allegiance and fate hang in the balance.
