Dark Emperor - Episode 1

In a dark alley, a man named Blackwell is ambushed by hired attackers, who declare their employer has paid enough to kill him there. Instead, Blackwell swiftly defeats them, causing them to panic and flee, warning each other that they've been caught on camera. Later, a man publicly presents a core tech algorithm as his own work at an event, dismissing his former female tech lead as a mere 'typist'. To Vivienne's shock, he then publicly proposes to her, calling her his fiancee, and she accepts. She reflects bitterly that her five years of work became his trophy, while he mockingly thanks the 'backstage team' as cheap labor. Alone, Vivienne vows that with one press of her finger, she can destroy everything he has.
