Displaced War God - Episode 2

As the alien Swarm reforms nearby, military leadership debates the fate of the legendary Silver Scar mech, which lacks a compatible pilot. A civilian worker volunteers to try, but fails a standard neural sync test and is mocked. Undeterred, the worker directly challenges a marshal for a chance, striking a deal: if they pass a combat baseline test in a training rig, they can pilot Silver Scar. After a humiliating failure on the rig, the worker makes a desperate final request—a live combat trial in a simulator to prove their worth.
