Eldest Sister, Sovereign at Last - Episode 2

Nora is interrupted by Colt's urgent call: her father died last night and his will leaves all his shares to her; the funeral is tomorrow and she must return home immediately. At home she is met by a woman and child who hurl accusations—calling Nora illegitimate and blaming her for their ruined lives—refusing to listen as Nora protests. Then a woman named Katie steps forward: "You must be my sister, Nora," and reveals she is their father's legitimate daughter. Nora inherits the shares but now faces an openly hostile household and the funeral tomorrow.
