With their own mech destroyed and unable to compete in the Trials, the pilot is called a 'worthless nobody' but defiantly refuses to give up. At home, they vow to their mother that winning in the Arena will be their ticket to a better life. The episode ends as the formidable Platinum Tier Two mech, Thunderlord, enters the scene, setting the stage for the pilot's next impossible challenge.
