In this episode, Morrigan is critically injured and at risk of dying, but King Phoenix reluctantly uses a rare Veinguard Elixir to keep her alive, though only to prolong her suffering. Morrigan confronts the King’s cruelty, accusing her of saving her not out of mercy but to ensure the elixir’s value. Meanwhile, Aunt Lilith forces Elysia, the trained heir and King Phoenix’s favored daughter, to consume the elixir at the grand ceremony. Lilith then taunts the King, revealing that Morrigan, the half-dead girl, is actually his real daughter, leaving the King defeated and causing Lilith to question his feelings towards Morrigan.
