Despite her wounds, she faces harsh criticism and demands to surrender the Jade. Howard defends Jane but is dismissed by the others. Tensions escalate when an uncle reminds the group that another family member can still compete. A challenge is issued to settle the dispute: whoever wins the next duel claims the Jade, with the loser’s side swearing off future claims. The episode ends with a direct challenge issued to all opponents.
