Nina only wants to return to the modern world, but in the process she accidentally provokes three demon lords. The aloof, proud God of War, the ambivalent Lord of Demons, and the scheming, cunning Crown Prince converge—each insisting they will protect and possess her. Her plea is exhausted: 'I can't take you out anymore. You're ruining my chances of getting married.' Justin snarls: 'Whoever dares lay a finger on you, I'll make sure they're utterly annihilated.' The Demon Lord growls: 'Any fool who dares make a move on you, I'll cripple him first.' Chip snaps: 'If you don't take me, I'll break your legs.' Caught between a desperate goal and three violent promises, Nina must choose whether to force her way home or accept the dangerous devotion that follows her.

I laughed and swooned at Nina's chaotic magnetism among suitors. Justin's protectiveness made my heart ache. Crown Prince is deliciously scheming.

My friends and I argued over favorites during dinner. The God of War won, obviously.
