Zack suddenly gains the rare Third Eye while classmates mock his rabbit-pattern underwear. His mentor Mr. Gatsby proclaims Zack his prized disciple, gives him a Divine Pendant, and explains that eighteen years earlier the Bell family had a daughter born with demonic energy who holds the matching Demonic Pendant. Gatsby says marrying her will combine the pendants and let Zack ascend to Immortality. Excited, Zack prepares to leave to find his wife, but as he departs someone calls out, "Zack, you can't leave!" Zack is stopped at the threshold and the mission remains unresolved.

Zack's departure sparks uproar as five senior disciples—Mindy, Jeri, Ariel, Laura and Lily—demand Mr. Gatsby explain why he let Zack marry an outsider.
