Finding Shelter in a Tyrant - Episodio 1

Confrontation opens with a young woman revealed to be pregnant with twins as her mother accuses her of being shameless and demands, "Who's the man?" The mother insists pregnancy prevents a planned kidney donation to her sick sister, Sophia Hobbs, blaming a hospital mistake for Sophia's condition. She defends herself—saying she’s been Sophia’s blood donor since 13—and vows to work the bar to earn enough to leave the Smiths. Later she refuses marriage, shouting "I'm not getting married," which provokes her grandmother's public shame and a threat to hang herself; the woman's answer trails off, unresolved.
