From Hostage to Hegemon - Episode 3

Forced to kneel, a captured king faces a captor who threatens, "I'll kill all Ystravians!" The group of survivors argue: some urge surrender to survive, others demand revenge and call to "carve a path of blood." They blame the king — a "weakling" — for Ystravia’s fall after one person killed a Northlander soldier. The captor reveals he planned to trade the king for grain but, because the king resisted, decides to execute him. Shouts of "Kill him!" follow and a guard warns, "Careful, Your Majesty!" The captor’s taunt, "Are you afraid of these paper tigers?" leaves execution unresolved.
