In a starving settlement hoarders argue over a refugee; Damian insists no killing, but others warn murder would drive away future trade in women and children. They choose to hoard control of the food, handing leftover porridge to some while explicitly excluding others. Nearby, hungry Carlos and his grandmother pin their hopes on Yadiel’s promised supply, but when doubt grows the grandmother suggests giving Delilah to Fernando to make up the shortfall. A System tells its Host the chosen delivery method is delayed. With the delivery stalled and Delilah’s fate decided, survival hangs unresolved.
