At a summoning trial, prodigy Natalie summons what should be a powerful beast—but it appears as a flea, prompting classmates to ridicule her. The embarrassment escalates when instructors reveal it's a bloodbound summon: Natalie will be bound to the flea for life and is dismissed. The flea then feeds on her blood, accumulates Blood Essence, and evolves. It gains Prickle Field, a skill that makes nearby enemies itchy, interrupts skills, and enrages beasts. The episode ends with Natalie bound to a now-evolved flea, its disruptive power leaving her future immediately uncertain.
