In a hospital room, injured groom Scott wakes to his fiancée insisting the wedding will go ahead despite three broken ribs, a fractured leg, and head stitches. She declares she hates Alison, accusing Alison of abandoning her while she was injured and leaving with Kyle, and vows Scott will be her only wife. Alison bursts in, shames Scott and orders a woman out; that woman—Kyle's sibling—refuses, saying "This is my mess. I'll deal with it myself." Kyle cries for a painkiller, leaving the wedding plan and who stays beside him unresolved.
