GodBorn - Episode 8

A man confronts a mother snake to obtain a magical fruit needed to save his own mother. Her hatchlings plead for her life, revealing they have been repeatedly driven from every home by humans, leaving them with nowhere else to go. Faced with their desperation, the man questions his mission, realizing that killing their mother to save his own would make him no better than the monsters he fights. He makes a decisive turn, abandoning his lethal plan. He instead takes two remaining fruits and orders the snakes to flee forever, sparing the mother's life but leaving his own quest unresolved.
