Damon is poisoned and near death. A woman, despite warnings that the venom will spread, intervenes to save his life by sucking out the poison. When he regains consciousness, Damon initially accuses her of being the one who poisoned him. She denies it, stating she couldn't stand by and watch him die. He acknowledges she wasn't the poisoner but refuses to forgive her for a past betrayal involving bloodshed. Meanwhile, a third person plots to frame Damon for treason by sacrificing thirty dragon soldiers, using his loyalty against him.
