Hello, I Missed You Too - Episode 9

Hailey has decided to buy a modest used car to save for a house and plan for Cody's school; her mother Helen checks dealerships and points out a promo, then steps away to get juice with Cody. At the showroom a salesman shows Mr. Mercer a rare new arrival. Hailey and Cody unexpectedly run into Mr. Mercer. He recognizes Hailey, is surprised to see the child, and asks, "He's your son?" The question interrupts Hailey in front of both men and leaves her forced to respond as the episode ends on that uneasy, unresolved revelation.
