Nora realizes she has died but cannot pass on because her parents never accepted her, trapping her soul. As a ghost, she is invisible, unable to touch anything or leave Blackwood. She sees her family sealing up her room, with Grace stating that a girl like Nora isn't returning to Blackwood Manor. Nora, now realizing her presence is being erased just days after her death, grows suspicious about how Grace knows she is gone for good.
