Onlookers mock his ability to support her, call the scene a paid act and question whether a CEO would fall for her. Accusations escalate into shouted threats and a vow to "discipline your child" from someone at the scene. Despite the humiliation, the woman declares, "I'll support my man," and they wed on the spot, but the crowd's accusations and threats leave the new marriage publicly contested and precarious.
