Liz is rushed into the ER after a hit-and-run; Jon and Eva scramble at the scene while someone tells Jon to destroy evidence and secure assets. Doctors warn Liz has a severe head injury and order her father to be contacted. Tessa runs the plate and reveals the fleeing driver was the victim’s husband. Worse, he plans to hire lawyers to file for divorce, freeze her assets and “clean you out.” The episode ends with Liz fighting for her life as a deliberate legal assault on the family is set in motion.
