Hera is alone in a room, burning with desire and pleading for relief. Zeus finds her and confronts her, claiming that despite her hatred, her body still craves only him. He forcefully asserts his control, stating she belongs to him forever. When she continues to reject him, he reveals his alleged motive: the children others blame him for are theirs, conceived with her blood, and he claims his actions are to protect her and their family. As Hera appears unresponsive, another person arrives at the door, concerned and demanding entry.
