Sylvia, a woman preparing for her wedding the next day, insists on going ahead despite having recent surgery. Meanwhile, her groom Stewart brags to another man that he plans to arrive an hour late to humiliate her and assert control. At the wedding venue, Sylvia discovers Stewart with another woman, Sophia, trying on wedding dresses. After a tense confrontation where Sophia claims she and Stewart are just friends and she was trying it on for Sylvia, Sylvia leaves the scene, her face burning with anger as onlookers murmur.
