I Quit Guarding Demon-Sealing Tower - Episode 8

Before the fight escalates, Layla, Queen of the Feather Kingdom, interrupts, pleading with Charlie—referred to as the Nether Divine Lord—to help after her country confirms the Demon-Sealing Tower has collapsed. She offers loyalty and the Imperial Seal if he saves her people from rampaging Soul Beasts. Charlie’s opponents accuse Layla of betrayal and question her desperation, while Charlie denies the tower's failure and accuses her of lying. Despite Layla’s warnings of massive Soul Beast attacks, Charlie remains skeptical, leaving the crisis unresolved and tensions mounting.
