At the scene an injured man asks a young healer for help. Mayson Lane channels vital energy, gives a rejuvenation pill and uses the Thirteen Ghost Needles to treat severe wounds. Mid-treatment, ninjas from Dofait arrive; despite orders to leave, Mayson confronts them, unleashes a single powerful technique and kills a top-level ninja, shocking bystanders. The injured man recovers rapidly and Mayson leaves his contact. Later Sean Lynch learns Mayson was kicked out and angrily orders Mark to come see him, leaving an immediate confrontation hanging.
