In This Life, My Daughter Comes First - Episode 2

She wakes up alive in 1990 and immediately searches for her daughter Molly. Finding Molly scrubbing clothes — for Mr. Zane, Henry and Julia — the mother interrupts, saying Molly no longer has to wash for others. She apologizes for being late and vows, "I'll make sure you have a better life." Molly, ashamed, insists she doesn't need a new dress. When the mother asks whether the dress is for Molly's Children's Day performance, Molly confirms. The episode ends with the mother's promise standing but Molly still headed to the performance, leaving the mother a narrow chance to change her child's path.
