Wounded and captured by a man demanding a secret his father hid, Brian defiantly tells him to take it from his corpse. He is nearly killed, then mysteriously appears where a woman finds him injured and calls an ambulance. He desperately resists help, but when she tries to stop him, her blood triggers a shocking reaction in him. After she demands to know what he is, he flees, leaving her with only his name.
