Lucius wakes to find his friend has sneaked in to rouse him for his big game day, avoiding his parents. During the football match, Lucius leads his team to a fifteenth consecutive win, celebrated by his cheering friend. However, an opponent named Jack, furious about losing, confronts Lucius and aggressively shoves his friend, calling him a 'geek'. Lucius immediately intervenes, warning Jack not to touch his friend again. After the confrontation, Lucius confesses he struggles with his temper, but his friend reassures him, calling him just 'Lucius, my best friend' and blaming his actions on instinct, not malice. As they leave, their close bond is the only shield against the brewing tension.
